Philip Romolo Neri (Italian: Filippo Romolo Neri; 21 July 1515 – 25 May 1595), known as the Third Apostle of Rome, after Saints Peter and Paul, was an Italian priest noted for founding a society of secular clergy called the Congregation of the Oratory.

Is the Patron Saint of Special Forces.


WHO:    All/Any available and interested SFA Chapter 19 members 

WHAT:    Dedication of school chapel to Saint Philip Neri, US Special Forces Patron Saint
WHERE:    Oratory Prep School, 1 Beverly Road, Summit, New Jersey 07901
WHEN:    Monday, 04 DEC 2017, 0915 hours (approximately 30 minute ceremony)
WHY:    SFA Chapter 19 presence was requested by school chaplain,  in order to show support, patriotism and provide positive role-model image for school children
HOW:    Members will wear beret, uniform, SFA blazer & tie, and/or other appropriate attire.  Members should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to event.  Members may be in formation or may be seated on dais (low platform for a lecternseats of honoror a throne).  A display, on-loan St. Philip Neri award may be available though SFA National Headquarters.
